Life Insurance Companies to Become Members of Bureau of Compulsory Insurance
The order of the head of state was published on the application of the Law "On Amendments to the RA Law "On mandatory insurance of disability resulting from occupational accidents and diseases at work."
The main change was the introduction of companies specializing in life insurance into the Bureau of Compulsory Insurance. Their customer base will be an integral part of a unified information database of the Bureau.
Other legislative innovations are mostly of a technical nature. Thus, the exception in paragraph 1 of article 3 of the law will not be abstract person with a military or special rank, but "the armed forces and persons with special rank, judge and jury."
According to the innovations in the category of the judiciary and law enforcement agencies ranked as the Emergency Situations Ministry, as well as the scope of protection of public order and national security, customs and immigration services. So far in the framework of this kind have been insured judges, prosecutors, investigators, persons engaged in criminal investigations , as well as employees who perform the decisions taken by the courts , police or the prosecutor's office.
Unemployed benefit purchasers as a result of an accident are children (under 18 or in the case of training full-time high school to 23 years old) of a crippled or dead person, a father, a mother, a wife and a child crippled falling under the category of recipients of the retirement pension. Purchasers of the benefits may be brothers and sisters, and other family members in the absence of the above-mentioned categories of relatives.
According to paragraph 3.3 of Article 16, is now a one-time payment of the aggregate amount of monthly insurance claims issued in the event of death or injury as a direct result of an industrial accident. Now lawyers of insurance companies can prove that the death was caused indirectly, leading to non-payment or under-payment. Same as the death or injury directly in production is related to treatment by the insurer (paragraph 4 of the same article).
The entry into force of the Order and bringing it into line with other legislation must be within 3 months. Responsible for the performance is the Cabinet of Ministers. - 17D-
