Low Rates of Property Insurance
The Bureau of Compulsory Insurance (BCI) last year concluded 152 111 contracts under the compulsory insurance of real estate (+ 36.05% per year). Recall that in the country, there are about 2 million such facilities, including housing.
According to the BCI report, the total amount of premiums on the treaties was about 16 million manat (+ 23.81% per year).
Of the total number of contracts 80.38% accounted for residential units, 0.31% - for office buildings, and 19.31% - for other immovable property.
On liability insurance for real estate 4,283 contracts totaling 334 440 manat were signed last year. The rate for contracts for the year decreased by 15.15%, and for revenues - by 11.68%. Thus 2,672 agreements were concluded with legal entities, and 1,611 - with individuals. --17D-
