
Ministry of Ecology fined Sumgait park for negligence
Sumgayyt/18.10.13/Turan : Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources has fined the park of culture and rest . Nasimi Sumgayit city of 40 million manat in fact arson and cutting down trees. Head of the local department of Ecology and Natural Resources escaped reprimand .
As reported on October 17 Turan, a few days ago, this park was a fire , resulting in burnt 150 trees . In the Ministry of Environment emphasize that the management of the park was negligent , failed to take the necessary measures in time , turned a blind eye to cutting down trees. In addition to this investigation it was found that the care of the green areas in the park is at a low level .
Employees of the Ministry of Environment conducted a public holiday work day , cleared the area , and planted more than 100 trees instead of the fallen ones. - 08D-
