Nearest Plans of Accounting Chamber
The Accounting Chamber of Azerbaijan intends to conduct an audit at the Institute of Radiation Problems of the National Academy of Sciences. According to the information of the structure, such plans were announced at the board meeting of 31 March. The purpose of the audit is identification of misuse of budget and forecast budget revenues of the institute.
The outline of the main public overseer of the treasury also includes checking the targeted use of budgetary funds allocated to the Executive Power of the Khazar district of Baku (including management of enterprises and organizations subordinate to EPI) under housing and communal services.
Regional tests are also expected in the Central Hospital of the Goygol region (forecasting and targeted use of budgetary funds), as well as in the Office of Culture and Tourism of Baku (the intended use of the budget and forecasting of budget revenues).
The Accounting Chamber of Azerbaijan, accountable to the country's parliament, has been effective since December 7, 2001 as the authority controlling the flow of state budgetary funds.
Senior officials (members of the Bar, which consists of the chairman, his deputy and seven auditors) are elected every 7 years.
This body's reports are usually limited to generalities about the board meeting, without giving specific figures or data. According to Article 6.0.3 of the Law of AR "On receipt of information" ("Basic principles of information"), disclosure of budget revenues and expenditures is the responsibility of government agencies, including the Chamber of Accounts. --17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN.
