Officials have decided once again to improve the welfare of citizens at their own expense
Since January 1 of this year, there will be changes to public duties, under which citizens and companies will have to pay for certain operations twice or even more money than before the New Year.
Revised were the state fees for legal claims. For example, if previously to file a lawsuit with the cost below 110 manat it was enough to pay 3 manat, and above that amount - 20 manat, the approach has changed now: cash claims in the amount of 500 manats cost to the plaintiff 20 manat, and above that amount - 30 manat.
Twice increased state tax claims on disputes of a fine, which will cost now 40 manat. To be fair to point out that the size of the state fee for appeal and cassation complaints reduced. If earlier it was the size of 120 and 150% of the sum paid to the court of first instance, it will now be sufficient to pay 50% of this amount.
The fee seriously rose on real estate transactions, civil registration, visa, and as evidence of the notary and the estimated unranked contracts. For example, if before this in foreclosures between relatives it was enough to pay the legal costs of 7 manat, now, this amount increased to 13 manats. If the property located in Baku is sold to other persons, the amount of state tax is 200 manats, while before that the fee was 110 manats. In other cities, the new size of the state duty is 80 manat (previously - 44 manat).
If previously the citizens to change the name, surname and patronymic could pay three manats, now it will cost 10 AZN.
A member of Milli Majlis Fazil Mustafa said such an approach is not valid. "Multiplier penalties and government fees are not justified, since it aims to improve the social protection of certain public officials by the citizens. This is a violation of the rights of citizens of the country," the MP said. Fazil Mustafa said that the fight against corruption should not be carried out by raising taxes, but by raising the salaries of officials.
Note that in 2011 in the fight against corruption, the head of state ordered the direction of 25% and 30% of the proceeds from fines, fees and government fees, as surplus to wages, to Traffic Police, the State Customs Committee, the Ministry of Taxes, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the State Committee on Property, notaries and other officials. - 08B-
