OPEC expected reduction of oil production in Kazakhstan
In 2015 average daily oil production in Kazakhstan will reduce by 10,000 barrels a day against previous year and total in average 1.62 million barrels a day, reads the OPEC August report about the oil market.
The forecasts did not change against the previous report about the oil market published in July.
During 2015 the quarterly oil production in the country will total 1.66, 1.60, 1.59 and 1.62 million barrels a day, respectively, reads the report.
In June 2015 oil production in Kazakhstan decreased by 80,000 barrels a day against May and totaled 1.56 million barrels a day. However, this index is 40,000 barrels a day higher, than production in June 2014, because of the works done on the Tengiz field in May and June 2014.
During six months this year average daily oil production in Kazakhstan totaled 1.63 million barrels a day, up 20,000 barrels a day against the same period in 2014.
In 2016 oil production in Kazakhstan is forecast to be 1.6 million barrels a day.
The biggest oil fields in Kazakhstan are Tengiz, Karachaganak and Kashagan.—0—
