Registration of Rights to Real Estate Increased by 15.8%

In 2014, Azerbaijan carried 205.2 thousand operations on registration of rights to real estate, which is 15.8% more than in the previous year. This was announced at last week held closed to the media board meeting of the State Committee on Property (SCP).

Increased activity of operations due to both the simplification of access to exit citizens to these services (introduction of ASAN Xidmet on the secondary real estate market, the use of vehicles for the initial registration of property in remote regions), and the purchase of property in the public interest and the interest in real estate investment.

Last year, the number of operations on the initial registration of real property rights has reached a record level - 57,950, which is 16.5% higher than in 2013. Purchase and sale of real estate during this period increased 15.5%. During the year the subject of such transactions became 147.2 thousand. Apartments, private houses, commercial premises and buildings, land plots, etc.

Experts believe that the process of recognition of state ownership of the property will accelerate this year. January 13 of this year was signed presidential decree approving the "List of documents certifying the acquisition of property rights acquired and arisen before the entry into force of the Law of Azerbaijan Republic" On the State Register of real estate. "According to this decree, with a single legal instrument for the construction of the property, provided prior to the entry into force of the Law (2001), the registration authority shall issue a document of title to it. In addition, the Parliament entered a bill legalizing individual residential units built without permit procedures.

The growth of real estate transactions is reflected in the income of employees of local branches of service of the State Real Estate Register at SCP, last year they received bonuses to wages of $ 36.6 million manat in the form of a 30% deduction of the amount of the state fee for real estate. ---08D
