SOCAR Hands over New Well in Oil Rocks Field
SOCAR will produce more than 5.8 million tons of oil every year due to commissioning a new well in the offshore field Oil Rocks, SOCAR reported.
Oil is extracted from the well bore in the range of 1,617-1,612 meters, the report said.
SOCAR is implementing a program to stabilize and increase oil production.
In January-August 2016, SOCAR produced 5.06 million tons of oil compared to 5.54 million tons produced in January-August 2015 (-8.7%). -12D--
