Structure of Academy of Sciences Approved
Resolution No 363 of the Cabinet of Ministers on 17 November approved the new structure of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. The structure of the ANAS was included four organizations.
The structure includes the ANAS Presidium, the Nakhchivan and Ganja branches of the ANAS, 46 publicly funded research enterprises, six scientific enterprises in Ganja and seven scientific enterprises in Nakhchivan, as well as five self-supporting enterprises.
The new structure of the Academy does not include the World Policy Institute, but includes the Oil and Gas Institute. The number of employees of the ANAS, financed from the state budget, is limited to 11,200 people. ---- 08D
