Taxes announced a reduction of tax debts
As of 1st October 2013 the total size of taxpayers' debt to the state budget was reduced in comparison with the beginning of the year by 10.9 %, while the comparable period of 2012 by 13.5 %.
From the beginning, the amount of tax debt decreased by 282.8 million manat. Thus, the tax debts now reach 2.6 billion manat. The Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan does not give indicators of malicious taxpayers, among whom there are large government and business entities. In Azerbaijan, information about tax debt of specific business entities is considered a trade secret.
In Analytical and information department of the Ministry of Taxes told Turan that this year fully repaid were debts on the accrued taxes of 169 thousand taxpayers. On 8228 out of these taxpayers debts were formed before the beginning of the year.
To ensure the collection of outstanding debts Taxes had to resort to 46,296 cases of decisions on compulsory payment. For decisions to open an inventory of the property, the provided payment was 50.3 million manat. - 08D-
