The coordination group discusses plans for the development of the securities market by the end of this year
Regular meeting of the Coordination Group (CG) on the State Program "Development of Securities Market in the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2011-2020" held in the State Securities Committee on July 29, discussed the events scheduled for the second half of this year.
According to the press service of the State Committee for Securities, the head of CG, deputy chairman of the State Securities Committee, Ilgar Muradov, reported on their work to date on the implementation of the State program, including the preparation of new regulations, the formation of the legal framework, stimulating demand and supply, improving the knowledge and skills, and the capacity of the professional participants of the securities market. The CG includes representatives of 11 agencies. --08D-

While the global economy faces persistent challenges, trade between China and Azerbaijan has defied downward trends, demonstrating significant growth. According to official statistics from Azerbaijan, bilateral trade in 2023 reached 3.1 billion US dollars. In just the first ten months of 2024, trade volume increased by 17.1% year-on-year, reaching 3.02 billion US dollars, putting the annual trade figure on track to hit a record high.
