Traditional Conference on Financing for Small Business
The pressing problems of financing small and medium enterprises will be discussed in Baku on 4-5 October this year.
According to the information portal of Azerbaijan Microfinance Association (AMFA), the debate will take place in the framework of the 6th Conference. Event is organized by the Association itself.
The conference will be attended by representatives of microfinance institutions, banks, investors and stakeholders of the government.
AMFA Association was founded in 2001. Its current members are about 30 organizations, including nine banks involved in lending to small businesses. - 17D-

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less.
