IEA Executive Director: The United States will be the main exporter of oil, gas and liquefied gas
Baku / 22.03.19 / Turan: "The United States will be the main exporter of oil, gas and liquefied gas," Fatih Birol, executive director of the International Energy Agency, said at the opening ceremony of the Economic Summit in Turkish Uludag.
Referring to changes in the world in the field of energy, Birol noted that geopolitics comes to the fore in this process: "In 2019, the United States will become the main producer and exporter of the world oil market. On the other hand, the United States (together with Russia) is coming to the fore in the issue of shale gas production as the main producer and exporter in the world.
The third factor is natural gas. In this area, the United States, Australia and Qatar will own 75% of the global production market, "said Fatih Birol, adding that Turkey needs to prepare for these processes. The World Energy Agency with a center in Paris has 39 members.
The summit of the Uludag economic summit began on 22 March. This year, 110 reports will be heard at the summit, which is important for Turkey and the world economy; 2000 people attended the summit. -0-
