U.S. President Joe Biden, during a virtual summit with 27 EU leaders on Thursday, expressed his desire to work together with European allies on "shared foreign policy interests," including China and Russia. He also noted the need for continued US-EU engagement on Turkey, the South Caucasus, Eastern Europe, and the Western Balkans," according to the White House readout, TURAN's Washington correspondent reports.
Biden joined his first virtual European Council summit as leaders celebrated shared values (and Trump’s exit). The meeting was chaired by European Council President Charles Michel.
According to the White House, Biden reaffirmed his commitment to "revitalizing relations between the US and the EU". He also conveyed that a strong EU is in the U.S. interest, noting our shared democratic values and the world’s largest trade and investment partnership.

Former candidate for the Milli Majlis from the 82nd Imishli-Saatly electoral district, Leyla Najafgulieva, has been dismissed from her position as a teacher at a secondary school in the village of Aranlı in the Imishli region.
