CEC announces calendar action plan for elections-2018
Baku / 08.02.18 / Turan: Today's official press published a calendar of key actions and activities related to the preparation and holding of early elections. According to the calendar plan, the official nomination of presidential candidates begins with the publication of the decision on the appointment of elections. The decision to approve or not to approve presidential candidates is made within five days of the submission of documents to the CEC. In case of a positive decision, plenipotentiary representatives of the applicant are given subscription lists to collect 40,000 signatures of voters necessary for the official registration of a candidate.
Subscription sheets along with documents are accepted to the CEC from February 20 to 18.00 on March 12. After receiving the documents are checked within 7 days. The pre-election campaign begins on March 19 and ends at 8:00 on April 10. Organizations that intend to hold "Exit-poll" polls on the election day should apply to the CEC by March 22. Decisions on accreditation will be taken before April 1. Voting on election day will begin at 08.00 and finish at 19.00.
At 10.00, 12.00, 15.00, 17.00 and 19.00, preliminary data on the appearance of the ballot will be announced.
Primary data on voting results from polling stations and districts will be displayed on the CEC website as soon as the election is over. The first copies of the protocols on the results of voting on the polling stations should be delivered to the district election commissions within 24 hours.
In this case, third copies should be posted on the sites. The first copies of the protocols from the district election commissions must be submitted to the CEC no later than April 13.
The CEC should summarize the results of the elections and submit them for approval by the Constitutional Court until April 21. Results of the election of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan are officially announced by the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan within 14 days after the voting day, that is, until April 25.-06D--

During the meeting, Mohammed stated that the main theme of the upcoming conference would be financial issues. She expressed hope that the international community would establish new financial goals.
