Gubad Ibadoglu as the head of the new social organization
The founders of the Movement "Democracy and prosperity of Azerbaijan" issued a declaration, which states that the purpose of the Movement is the formation of a society based on democratic principles of freedom, and the rights of citizens and their welfare. The task of the Movement is also economic reforms, release of political prisoners, cessation of repression against civil society activists, struggle for territorial integrity, and improving financial status of citizens. The authors of the declaration criticize the government policies that led to pessimism about the future of society.
A founding session of the Movement will be held in the near future. The document was signed by Gubad Ibadoglu, Vugrun Eyubov, Adil Geybulla, Ibrahim Ibrahimli, Ellada Mammadli, Sakhavat Aliisa, Malahat Murshudlu, Adalat Yusifov, Ahliman Abbas Tale Aliyev, Rafiq Abdulaly, and Ismail Yusifov.
One of the founders of the Movement, Ibad Gubadoglu, put forward his candidacy for the presidency of the party "Musavat" this summer. -05D04-
