Russia Claims Economic Benefits of Stability in Nagorno-Karabakh
Baku/25.03.21/Turan: Stabilization of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and adjacent regions made it possible to start work on the restoration of all economic and transport links in the region. This is stated in the review of foreign policy activities of the Russian Foreign Ministry for 2020.
“A Russian peacekeeping contingent has been deployed along the line of contact and the Lachin corridor, and an International Center for Humanitarian Response has been established. As a result, the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and adjacent regions has stabilized. This made it possible to start work on the restoration of all economic and transport links in the region. Russia took part in setting in motion the process of political settlement within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement. —0—
