Sargsyan calls Aliyev’s behavior "childish"
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan commented on the statement by Ilham Aliyev in his address made yesterday in Baku at the Congress of World Azerbaijanis. Sargsyan described the behavior of Ilham Aliyev "unbalanced". "During his speech at the 4th Congress of the World Azerbaijanis he cynically spoke on Armenia, insulting the president, with whom in a couple of days he is going to discuss important issues. I hope this is a temporary phenomenon, "childish", which will pass away, because we have serious work. And hopefully, the attempts to fail the Viennese arrangements are not conscious behavior," said Sargsyan.
From this statement it follows that a preparation of the meeting of the two Presidents Sargsyan is ongoing.
Earlier, Armenia's Foreign Ministry described the statements of Ilham Aliyev as an attempt to derail the negotiation process on the conflict settlement. Ilham Aliyev in his speech at the congress said that Sargsyan lied four times when he spoke of hostilities in Karabakh in early April. Lies were regarding the size of the lost territories by Armenians, the question of who first started fighting, what are the losses of the parties, and so on. -02D-
