The authorities do not evaluate the actions of the deputy, who threw citizens at 300 thousand dollars
Baku/02.10.19/Turan: On October 2, the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan considered the appeal of Rafael Jabrailov, who applied to the Milli Majlis with a refusal of the deputy"s mandate. The appeal was granted.
The reason for the refusal was a scandal involving a debt of 300 thousand dollars to a group of people to whom he did not return the money. The complainants sued the deputy and won the case after which Jabrailov was forced to resign.
The authorities are trying in every possible way to make amends to the scandal, claiming that the issue has been resolved in the legal plane and there is no point in discussing it in the press and parliament.
This statement was made at the meeting of the Milli Majlis by the Deputy Executive Secretary of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) Siyavush Novruzov.
However, such a statement actually means that the issue has not been resolved. On what basis is the deputy engaged in business? Why this should not be discussed? It is not clear who will return the money to the victims ?
However, apparently this is not the last deputy scandal. It became known that another deputy, Chingiz Ganizade, who also owed a large amount to a group of citizens, was sued. In both cases, deputies took money for commercial business projects. -02D-
