The construction of the railway from Goradiz to Zangilan is coming to end
Baku/29.09.23/Turan: The construction of the railway from Goradiz to Zangilan is in an active phase of implementation and will be completed very soon, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said today in his speech at the 2nd Azerbaijan National Urban Planning Forum in Zangilan.
This railway is an important part of the transport corridor that will connect the mainland of Azerbaijan with the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and then with Iran, Turkey and further with Europe, Aliyev said.
At the same time, the President stressed that Zangilan will become an important transport point, since an airport, a railway, a six- and four-lane highway from Baku to Zangilan and to all other destinations are being built there. "In total, more than 2 thousand km of roads and highways are being built. That is, it is a large-scale construction," the President of Azerbaijan added. ---06B---
