The Iranian Ambassador has been told about the need to stop anti-Azerbaijani publications in the Iranian media
Baku/03.04.23/Turan: On April 3, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry received a note from the Iranian Embassy to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry calling for an end to the distribution of "anti-Iranian broadcasts and publications". On the same day, Iranian Ambassador Seyid Abbas Mousavi was invited to the Foreign Ministry, the official representative of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Ayhan Hajizade announced.
It was brought to the attention of the Ambassador that the note of the Iranian side about the Azerbaijani media does not reflect reality.
The Ambassador was handed a response note, as well as a list of anti-Azerbaijani publications in the Iranian media. "The Ambassador was told that regular publications in the Iranian media of insulting, false, slanderous and biased information about the Republic of Azerbaijan, its state and government figures, as well as false statements and speeches of well-known public and political figures of Iran about Azerbaijan damage relations between the two countries and deepen misunderstandings."
In addition, it was noted that misunderstandings arising in bilateral relations always come from the Iranian side, while it does not reciprocate properly to Baku's consistent and well-intentioned steps.
