Acquired the citizenship of Azerbaijan, will take a vow of loyalty
The Milli Majlis approved amendments to the law "On Citizenship of Azerbaijan." From now on, persons who have received or restore the citizenship of Azerbaijan, and over 14 years of old or older will be required to swear an oath of loyalty in the country's official language.
In particular, in the oath reads: "I (full name), as a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan do not carry any obligation as a citizen of another state.
I swear allegiance to the Constitution and laws of Azerbaijan, and undertake faithfully serve the Azerbaijan state, to defend the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, respect the traditions and culture of the republic."
The oath ceremony will be held in a festive atmosphere under the State flag.
Citizen, saying the oath, must put a hand on the Constitution of Azerbaijan, then sign the relevant document, which will be stored in the executive power.-06D-
