Causes of failure on gov.az domain not explained (updated)

The reception of the Minister of Communications could not explain the reason for the failure. Failure on the Internet gov.az failed
Baku / 25.09.18 / Turan: At about 15:00 on September 25 there was a failure on the Internet domain gov.az, where all state institutions of Azerbaijan have hosting.
At the request of the Turan agency, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology informed that the cause of the failure was not known to them, and recommended to apply to the Special Service of the State Guard, which ensures the security of electronic resources of state institutions. However, it was not possible to receive a comment in this department.
Experts in the Internet also do not know what happened and wait for the official comments.
This kind of failure occurred for the last time in 2015, when a fire broke out on the Internet monopolist Delta Telecom. Then a significant part of the country was deprived of the Internet for 10-12 hours. -02B-
