Пикет азербайджанских общественных организаций на дороге из Ханкенди в Ереван
Experts in social networks explain the purpose of the action of Azerbaijanis near Shusha
Baku/13.12.22/Turan: On the second day of the picket of Azerbaijani public organizations on the road from Khankendi to Yerevan, near Shusha, experts share their vision of the problem on social networks.
The Milli Mejlis deputy Rasim Musabekov believes that the Armenians decided to test Baku's determination to stop the plundering our natural resources, and they miscalculated.
“The protest of environmental activists is the mildest form of reaction to the resumption of the exploitation of the Gyzylgaya deposit and the export of the concentrate to Armenia. If this signal does not reach Vardanyan, Arayik and others, then they should know that Baku can destroy the mine through a missile and bomb strike from the air. Cars with gold concentrate can be stopped on the highway and arrested. Karabakh Armenians receive electricity and gas from Armenia through cables and pipelines, which are under Azerbaijani control. I hope that the leaders of the separatist regime will have enough sanity to heed the protests of eco-activists and stop illegal mining in the fields. It is hardly in their interests to bring the conflict to the stage when Baku will be forced to use the strong tools at its disposal,” the MP wrote on Facebook.
Economic expert Natik Jafarli also posted a post on FB, in which he states that all countries use environmental issues in their own interests.
“In this sense, it is a very correct approach for the Azerbaijani government to bring environmental issues to the fore and block the Lachin road, thus putting pressure on Russia and the so-called regime in Khankendi,” the expert writes.
Jafarli is surprised at those activists in the networks who ask the reason for the absence of pickets at our other mines, outside of Karabakh. “Don't you know that ecology is not the only reason for this action? The purpose of the process is the expulsion of Russian forces from our lands. Every step towards this goal, including environmental slogans, deserves support,” says Jafarli.
Ishkhan Verdyan, a peacekeeper living in Istanbul, predicts the defeat of the political game of Prime Minister Pashinyan and the return to power of Robert Kocharyan after the third Karabakh war lost by the Armenians.
The main thing is not to lose the sequence of events in genocidal madness, writes Verdyan.
1. Azerbaijan demanded from the RPC (Russian Peacekeeping Contingent) to conduct monitoring at the mining sites in Karabakh.
2. After negotiations with the management of RPC, the parties came to an agreement, and Azerbaijani environmentalists, accompanied by representatives of RPC, went to the mining sites.
3. On the ground, they were blocked by armed Armenians led by Ruben Vardanyan and were not allowed to go to the mines. Representatives of Azerbaijan were not armed.
4. Azerbaijan demanded that the leadership of the RPC fulfill the agreements, and the blocking of the Lachin highway was chosen as an impact, demanding a meeting with the commander of the RPC, General Volkov.
5. General Volkov does not contact the Azerbaijani side, because of which the road has remained closed for the second day.
Therefore, the current situation was provoked by Ruben Vardanyan, who led the armed men against the civilian mission. The one who yelps about genocide is himself the instigator of the current situation, writes the peacemaker.
“If the ruling elite in Karabakh made a sovereign decision to interfere with the monitoring mission, which was agreed with the guarantor of the security of Karabakh - the RPC, by means of armed resistance, then it is they who are responsible for the current situation. The presumptuous and cynical behavior of the Karabakh authorities should not remain unappreciated. And if the assessment is such that they are free to do whatever they want on their territory, then they should bear responsibility for the consequences, since they are so independent,” Verdyan added in another post. —0—
