On December 19 the National Academy of Sciences will hold the first congress of scientists of the country, according to the Presidium of the Academy.
The congress is organized by the National Academy in conjunction with the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies. The event will be held at the Presidium of the Academy with the participation of scientists, government officials, businessmen and foreign scientists. The Congress Organizers report that the event will be open to journalists. The agenda and issues were not disclosed. It is also unknown who will address.-05D-

Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported no information about any destruction or casualties as a result of the earthquakes.
