Former residents of the former "Soviet" demand higher compensation
Baku / 25.12.19 / Turan: A group of former residents of the Sovetskaya zone held a rally in front of the Heydar Aliyev Sports Palace today.
They stated that their houses were demolished in 2014-15. Then the amount of compensation amounted to 1,500 manats per 1 square. m. However, those who were evicted later were paid more.
The protesters demanded that they be allocated bonuses.
However, the Executive Power of the Yasamal district said that the premiums apply only to those who were resettled in 2018-2019.
