How Did Shell Hit Residential Building in Ganja?
Baku / 17.06.19 / Turan: A shell hit a private house in Ganja five days ago during exercises of the Azerbaijani army, according to Ganimat Zahid, editor-in-chief of the Azadlig newspaper, who is in political emigration in France.
According to him, this shell was fired during the firing practice from the Agstafa district. The shell fell into one of the private houses, breaking through the roof and ceiling.
As it became known to Turan from sources in Ganja, none of those who were in the house was hurt. The military prosecutor's office is investigating the case.
The news agency Turan asked the press service of the Ministry of Defense for comments, but then they asked to send the question in writing. However, by noon on Monday no response was received.
At the same time, a military expert, having familiarized himself with the photo, noted that the photograph shows a tank shell, most likely the 125 mm 3BM26 model. -06B-
