Is the opposition TV channel blocked?
Due to the disruption on the satellite channel Meydan TV, on May 22 a program "Podval" (basement) was not on air, according the director of Meydan TV, Emin Milli. Sources of noise have not been established yet, he said.
"We are trying to find out the reason for obstacles to broadcasting. We find out the cause. We will definitely be on the air, and the work continues," said Milli.
However, there is no problem for on-line Internet broadcasting.
"Programs are placed on the YouTube. One program has been fully exposed to the Internet, the second, about the National Council, not yet. Today part of the program about the situation in the regions will be posted," continued Milli.
According to him, the first television station was on the air on May 15 since 21:00. Broadcast is from Germany via satellite Türksat - at frequencies 11804 V 24444 5/6.
