Ministry of Defense on Reshuffle
In the course of inspections conducted by the Ministry of Defense in the frontline, some soldiers were dropped, and some removed from office. At the same time, those who did well were promoted.
This common phrase was said by the press service of the Defense Ministry on the question from Turan about the displacement of a number of high-ranking officers in the apparatus of the Ministry of Defense.
The press service of the Defense Ministry believe that the search for some kind of "crime" in the ongoing reshuffle is not correct.
"In the course of inspections carried out at the end of 2014 in the Armed Forces, those who made mistakes were warned. Similar events are held regularly, so do not look at this as anything unusual.
The Press Service recommends that the media should not disseminate information about the dismissal or appointment of military personnel," the report says.
Recall that this week it became known from unofficial sources about the displacement of at least five heads of departments and divisions of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan. -03B-

Amid the bustling scenes of this year’s COP29 climate conference, a protest against whaling and deep-sea mining, organized by a group calling itself the FINS Initiative, drew significant attention from delegates and observers. However, questions have arisen about the legitimacy of the group, as an internet search yields little evidence of its existence beyond scattered mentions.

In the last two days, a "news" story appeared on TikTok about a whale spotted on Baku's seaside boulevard. The most "observant" users posted videos, commenting on the size of the animal. Later, other "witnesses" claimed it wasn't a whale, but a shark. Even later, a version emerged suggesting it was a submarine.
