Ministry of National Security (MNS), Confiscates more than 59 Kilo of Drugs
As a result of measures taken by the MNS, over 59 kg of drugs were confiscated from 11 smugglers. They all tried to bring drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijani citizen Asif Ismayilov, dealing in the transportation of the drugs along the route that took them from Iran to Azerbaijan to Russia, was detained in Dagestan, where 36 kg of hashish were confiscated.
In addition, more than 20 kg of heroine and opium were confiscated from Azerbaijani citizens, Rasim Agayev, Anara Shabiyev, Namik Huseynov, brothers Sakit and Habil Gasimov, and the Iranian Ruhi Dilawar.
A lawsuit was filed against the citizens listed above, and all persons involved have been brought to justice. -05D04-

During the operation of the Main Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 5 members of an organized group engaged in drug trafficking were detained. All of them have previous convictions: Bahlul Ismayilov, Royal Aliyev, Khayal Aliyev, Samir Aghayev, and Ali Mammadli.
