Public Transport Not to Operate in Several Cities, Districts on Weekends
Baku / 14.10.20 / Turan: Due to the increase in the number of coronavirus infections, the Azerbaijani government has expanded the list of cities and regions where public transport will not work on weekends due to a special quarantine regime.
This is provided for by the amendments made to the Cabinet of Ministers resolution "On additional conditions for the special quarantine regime in several cities and regions."
According to the amendments, in the cities of Ganja, Yevlakh, Mingachevir, Lankaran, Sheki and Shirvan, as well as in the Goygol, Samukh, Sabirabad and Guba districts, public transport will cease from 00:00 on October 17 to 06:00 on October 19, from 00:00 on October 24 until 06:00 on October 26 and from 00:00 on October 31 to 06:00 on November 2.
Restrictions on public transport on weekends were previously introduced in Baku, Sumgayit and the Absheron region. —06D-
