Refugees Demand They Should Be Received
Baku / 15.05.18 / Turan: A large group of internally displaced persons gathered in the morning on May 15 in front of the State IDP Committee. People came from different parts of the country, complaining about poor living conditions, poverty, low benefits, etc.
On May 15, the State IDP Committee has the only day of reception of citizens this month. However, there are too many people who want to be received and dozens of people gathered in front of the building.
The settlers complain about the lack of order in the reception and formal approach to people who came from far away.
One of the settlers said he has four children living in a dormitory in a room of 12 square meters.
Another refugee - a disabled person without a hand, requires the restoration of "bread allowances", since he cannot support his family.
The migrants also complain about the poor performance of the officials of the State Committee in the regions.
The head of the press service of the State Committee, Ibrahim Mirzayev, came out to the settlers and listened to their problems. According to him, the department has never been indifferent to the problems of IDPs, but they do not have enough time to receive all of them.
Mirzayev said that from now on refugees will be received not once a month, but four times.
However, people are still remaining before the State Committee. -05D06-
