The arrest of Huseyn Abdullayev extended for another three months
Baku/12.09.18/Turan: On September 12, the Nasimi District Court of Baku granted the investigation of the extension of the preventive measure in the form of arrest against former deputy of the Azerbaijani parliament HuseynAbdullayev, reportedthe court.Protection of Abdullayev does not comment on the charges against Abdullayev and the course of the investigation in his case.Former pro-government MP of the Azerbaijani parliament HuseynAbdullayev emigrated from Azerbaijan in 2013, and criticized the country's authorities. After that, a lawsuit was filed against him on a tax charge. On April 22, he was detained in Turkey and extradited to Azerbaijan.
Abdullayev was also charged under the Article 192.2.2 (illegal business with the extraction of large income), 178.2.1 (fraud), 178.2.2, 178.2.4, 182.2.1 (extortion by threat of prior collusion), 182.2.2 (the same actions committed repeatedly ) and 182.2.4 (the same actions committed with causing serious damage to the victim). -03C06-
