Baku/16.09.21/Turan: The Ministry of Emergency Situations appealed to the population due to the expected sharp deterioration of weather conditions since the evening of September 16.
Thus, from the specified time till noon on the 18th, a storm wind and showers with thunderstorms are expected in the territory of Azerbaijan, mudslides might take place on mountain rivers.
The population is called upon to take security measures, bypass billboards, temporary buildings and light structures, not to stand under power lines and large trees.
In case of a severe thunderstorm, it is recommended to disconnect electrical appliances from the network, and not to approach power lines, antennas and lightning rods in the open air.-16D-
