Rufat Muradli
The presenter of the Internet television Channel 13, Rufat Muradli, was released
Rufat Muradli, the presenter of the Channel 13 Internet television and deputy chairman of the Azerbaijan Democracy and Welfare Party, was released on January 1 after being arrested on December 2. He was arrested under articles 510 (disorderly conduct) and 535.1 (disobeying a lawful police demand) The Code of Administrative Offences for a period of 1 month.
According to Muradli, on December 2, he was detained by four people immediately after getting out of his car. Subsequently, a report was drawn up against him, and he was promptly taken to the Khatai District Court, where he was arbitrarily detained for a month without any judicial investigation.
Expressing his disagreement with the charges, Muradli, in an interview with Turan, stressed the lack of grounds for the charges against him. He stated: "Firstly, hooliganism is not in my nature, and secondly, I didn't even have time to bully there. As soon as I got out of the car, they detained me."
Muradli explained his arrest by his journalistic and political activities.
Muradli noted that while in custody, he was interrogated as a witness in the criminal case of the head of the Channel 13 TV channel Aziz Orujev.
Aziz Orujev was arrested on December 28. He was charged under article 188.2 (unauthorized construction or installation work on a land plot without a legally established right of ownership, use or lease), which provides for one to three years in prison. Kanal-13 has been broadcasting in the YouTube channel format in recent years.-0--

Many, recognizing the futility of resistance, settle for inadequate monetary compensation for their irreplaceable property. A minority, placing faith in the Housing Code, demand fair compensation from construction companies but often lose everything—both their homes and any form of recompense.
