Twenty days will be allotted for vehicle inspection
Baku/22.10.18/Turan: By the order of the Prime Minister, changes have been made to the rules for vehicle inspection. The period of inspection of Russian-made cars: "VAZ", "Qaz", "Moskviç", "ZAZ", "UAZ" and other cars produced in the CIS countries was from January 1 to May 1. For auto production of other states and their basic models in the CIS, technical inspections were carried out from May 1 to August 1. Trucks and buses were subject to inspection from September 1 to October 31.
By the decision of the Cabinet these terms have been eliminated. From now on, all vehicles must be inspected within 20 days after the expiration of the last inspection. In case of violation of the 20-day period, the violator will be punished in accordance with Article 339.1-1 (driving a vehicle that has not passed the inspection) of the Administrative Offenses Code with a fine of 50 manat.
Cars that are at the disposal of individuals, 4 years after production, must be inspected once every two years, 10 years after they are released, every year. From now on, coupons for technical inspection will be issued in electronic form. -03B06-
