Ukrainian Diabetic Drugs Cause Concern among Azerbaijani Specialists
Baku /09.02.18 / Turan: The Azerbaijan Diabetic League (ADL) NGO has sent an official letter to the Center for Analytical Expertise of the Ministry of Health regarding the diabetic medicines Humodar 100R, Humodar B100R and Humodar C25 100R produced by the Ukrainian pharmaceutical company Indar.
Analyzing the letter, the Union of Free Consumers (UFC) NGO came to the conclusion that, despite the different characteristics and color differences on the packages, (Humodar B100R is red, and Humodar R100R is green), the serial number of both drugs is the same. Neither of the preparations specifies the date of manufacture, Eyub Huseynov, head of UFC, told Turan.
He also noted that none of the mentioned drugs has been certified by international agencies, such as the European Medicines Agency or the US Drug and Food Control Administration. "All this raises doubts among consumers about these medicines, as they can be dangerous for health and life," the source said.
The summary of these preparations by the Director General of the Brazilian Sanitary Inspection Organization dated 11.10.2017, under the number RE-2.711, states: "Does not conform to best manufacturing practices" (see link: http://www.in.g.Br./autenticeded.html. You can also look at the code 0001201710160 0 2 11). Proposals to prevent the production of life-threatening preparations were addressed to the chairman of the anti-corruption committee of the Ukrainian Rada Soblev Vegor Viktorovich. UFC is surprised that these medicines enter the retail network and are allowed by the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan. --0-
