Jamil Hasanli: Invitation of Sahakyan to London means the failure of the policy of Baku
Invitation of the leader of the Karabakh separatists, Bako Sahakyan, on July 8 at the hearing at the Royal Institute "Chatham House" is the result of anti-Western policy of the Azerbaijani authorities in recent years, said the head of the National Council of Democratic Forces (NCDF) Jamil Hasanli, which he outlined in his article on Facebook.
"The beginning of this situation unpleasant for us stated when the office of the Radio BBC and the Radio "Liberty" closed in Baku. Since the beginning of broadcasting pro-Kremlin "Sputnik" became clear a turning point in the policy of Azerbaijan," wrote Hasanli.
Therefore, this invitation of Sahakyan is not be surprising, and the Azerbaijani authorities are reaping the fruits of their "thoughtless policy of wanton stubbornness and challenge the West."
Where is the results of authority BP, which for 20 years is the leader in the oil industry of Azerbaijan, where are the results of frequent visits of the Duke of York, Prince Andrew to Baku?
"The fact is that the corrupt regime of Azerbaijan drove itself to the situation that even friends refrain to protect it," writes Hasanli.
The Western press is preparing public opinion to the fact that Aliyev’s regime has no future.
"We saw a good example of this recently in the Council of Europe, during the European games.
Due to ignorant campaign against the United States launched in December last year the West turned away from us," said Hasanli.
The initiators of the crazy idea "America must learn from our mistakes" have jeopardized not only their power, but the interests of the country. European leaders expressed united position and ignored the European Games. These games were intended not for Berdumuhammedov, Lukashenko and Rakhmon ...
It was started in order to convince the West that that Azerbaijan respects the rights of citizens, and people's wealth is not appropriated. Did the West believe this?
On the one hand we say that we will raise the flag of Azerbaijan in Shusha, Khankendi, and on the other hand, the Armenian flag raised in Baku.
On the one hand we represent a refugee from Jabrail, as a guest from Britain, and on the other hand we do not let correspondent "The Guardian" to the country, noted Hasanli. He also expressed bewilderment about the persistent denial by the authorities the problem of political prisoners.
Even the former member of the Politburo, Heydar Aliyev, even at the most crucial moments, never went to the confrontation with the West.
The world has long endured the whims of Ilham Aliyev’s regime. Even the Council of Europe which once justified repression by the Azerbaijani authorities turned away. And not because some MPs in PACE do not love caviar any more, but because by its insane steps this regime has become a target of public policy of the West.
Discussions in "Chatham House" are the first symptoms of this ," sums Jamil Hasanli.-06-

We are at the forefront of the struggle for the right to life, freedom, and justice. Ukraine seeks a just peace that will lay a solid foundation for a stable future for Europe and the World, and the only way of achieving this is to implement President Volodymyr Zelensky's Peace Formula (the Ukrainian Peace Formula).

On the eve of a large-scale flood approaching Baku, a disturbing incident occurred in the village of Buzovna, where a Lada Priora car fell into the ground, literally collapsing the road beneath it. The driver miraculously remained unharmed but vowed to seek justice, promising to file an official complaint with the prosecutor’s office against Azersu OJSC, the state-owned water supply and sewerage company, often associated with deeply rooted corruption.

In a bit of historic irony, powerful oligarch Bidzina Ivanishvili has managed to inspire rare unity across Georgia’s cacophonous political scene twice in his life. His money and influence forged the broad-based consolidation of opposition forces that brought him to power in 2012, and now, 12 years and three electoral cycles later, a similar pattern of opposition convergence could send him packing.
