Close JSC "Azerbaijan Railways" has 7.4 million manta of profit
State close JSC “Azerbaijan Railways” received in the first half of this year a profit amounting AZN 7.4 million, for the amount of revenue from freight and passenger carriages in the amount of 110.4 million manta, Turan was told in the company.
In the structure of “Azerbaijan Railways” the expenses for paying wages to employees, amounted to 35.7 million AZN: payment of electricity, fuel and water - 19.2 million manat, goods and materials - 20 million manat, etc. In the first half of this year, the close JSC “Azerbaijan Railways”, considered one of the largest taxpayers, paid to the state budget three million manat.
During January-June11.1 million tons of cargo were transported over rail ways. Of these, 2.3 million tons are local carriages. On the territory of the country 3.1 million tons of cargo were brought to the country by railway, and 1.9 million tons of cargo were exported. On the railways were transported 3.8 million tons of transit cargo, including 2.5 million tons of oil. 08D
