Economic Development Ministry Throws 12,000 Liters of Kvass into Drains
Employees of the State Anti-Monopoly Service and Consumer Protection in the Ministry of Economic Development (MED) wiped out about 12 thousand liters of kvass produced by Budad Food Company. Management of the company does not agree with the charges and intends to take action to protect its reputation.
The press service of the Ministry of Economic Development told Turan that the destroyed product was not fit for consumption.
This is the second such case with soft drinks produced by Budad Food Company. In July last year, the MED declared the destruction of 58.1 thousand tons of finished products of this company, which "was made without compounding and processing instructions, and appropriate labeling."
The management of LLC Budad Food Company told Turan that the charges against the company have no any reason and in the coming days they will issue an official position on the illegal actions of the MED.
Note that the verification of Budad Food Company has been held since early August. For alleged violations and unfair competition a financial sanction was applied at a rate of 4,600 manat. - 08B-
