In 2013 KazTransOil increased oil transportation by 1% up to 53.9 million tons

In 2012 oil transportation by Kazakhstan national operation KazTransOil totaled 59,924,000 tons, up 1% against the same period last year, reported the company’s press office on January 14, 2013.

“Oil transportation increased by 2.49 million tons against the plan or by 4% against the same period last year – by 1%, growth by 465,000 tons,” reads the press release.

During 2013 14,116,000 tons of oil was transported via the company’s pipelines to the Kazakhstan’s oil refineries, up 1% against the same period in 2012. During this period the volume of oil transshipment to Atasu-Alashankou (Kazakhstan-China) increased by 14% up to 11,828,000 tons. The volume of oil transportation via the Atyrau-Samara oil pipeline did not change and totaled 15,376,000 tons.

KazTransOil also reported that during 2012 oil transshipment to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) oil pipelines dropped by 9% and totaled 3,625,000 tons.

During last year Russian oil transit via the Tomsk-Novorossiysk oil pipeline located on   the territory of Kazakhstan increased by 18% up to 6,533,000 tons.

KazTransOil manages a network of the oil pipelines in Kazakhstan with total length of over 5,000 km and water pipelines with total length of over 2,000 km.—0—
