JSC AtaBank almost fulfilled the condition of the Central Bank
The assets of JSC AtaBank as of Aug. 1 totaled 395.3 million manat (+ 5.4%, or 20.4 million. YTD).
As they say in today's communication structure, it increased its total loan portfolio (+ 9.8%), reaching 265.5 million manat. At around 250 million manat stood the term deposit portfolio (+2.4% YTD).
The most important thing - the bank almost brought charter capital up to the minimum required by the Central Bank (50 mln. manat by the end of 2014). Compared to last year this figure rose by 18.7% to 44.5 million manat.
JSC AtaBank with 25 branches and offices throughout the country, operating since 1993. Of these, 12 are located in the capital, and the rest in cities such as Ganja, Sumgait, Khachmaz, Yevlakh, Mingachevir, Shamkir, Goychay, Shirvan, Lankaran and Naftalan. --17D-

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less. This robust reserve position reflects Azerbaijan's fiscal stability and the government’s strategic economic management.

According to operational data from the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan, in January 2025, the country produced 2.3 million tons of oil, including condensate, and 3.9 billion cubic meters of gas.

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has opened a representative office in Albania and is set to launch a specific project this year, the Albanian company "Albgaz" announced.
