Major change in the structure of shareholders of the corporation Accord
Founder Corporation Accord Ilgar Hajiyev said that he left the shareholders through the sale of equity. On the sum of the transaction were not disclosed.
Accord Corporation was established in 2005 Ilgar Hajiyev in the form of a limited liability company, and then one of the first was involved in the implementation of major public investment projects financed from the state budget. The company also had its own manufacturing plants engaged in housing construction. Later the company was incorporated.
In a short time the company has expanded operations, spinning off representation abroad. Today it is a large corporation that has branches and representative offices in six countries (Georgia, Albania, Germany, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan), controlling share in 8 local JSC and 16 companies in Azerbaijan and beyond.
In 2011, the shareholder structure changed and Hajiyev lost control of the corporation. Management and control of JSC Industrial-Construction Investment Corporation Accord transferred to Ashraf Kamilov (51%). He also owns a company VIP Estate. Two other shareholders of Accord (Ilgar Hajiyev and Daria Veliyev) divided between the 24.5% stake.
The authorized capital of JSC Accord was over 84 million manat. I. Hajiyev owned 1,176,023 shares of a nominal value of 20,580,400 manat.
Coming out of the equity in JSC Accord, Ilgar Hajiyev told a government newspaper that he has developer activities in Azerbaijan and Russia. In Azerbaijan it is cooperating with the Swiss company NovaNord Holdings. With the participation of the company in the territory of Absheron district (near the Jeyranbatan reservoir) will be established within 5 years of a residential complex with all the amenities for an area of 60 hectares. Azerbaijan’s imports of animal and vegetable fats and oils climbed 23.9% by weight and 16.2% by value from January to September 2024, official data revealed. Despite the uptick in volume, the import cost of these products saw a decrease compared to the same period last year, with the cost per ton of vegetable oil falling by 6.1% to $1,199.6 in 2024, down from $1,278.6 in 2023.
