Manat money grew in December at 12.5%
Manat monetary base at the end of December last year amounted to 10,515 million manat, increasing in the reported month by 1,169 million or 12.5%.
According to the Central Bank, in the last 12 months, the monetary base increased by 2239.6 million or 27.1%
Monetary base is the amount of cash and cash commercial banks deposited with the Central Bank as required reserves. With this money the Central Bank fulfills its obligations to commercial banks and government agencies. - 15B -
