Pasha Sigorta - Usual Leader of Insurance Market
The experts do not argue about the superiority among local insurers - in 2012 it was (at the end of the month and the quarter and year-end) the insurance company Pasha Sigorta. In January (24 million 380.77 thousand AZN) there was a more than threefold separation from the closest pursuer - Ipek Yolu Sigorta (7 million 441.19 thousand manat) scored on corporate contracts, 80% of which relates to voluntary health insurance. In absolute terms it is 38.76% of total premiums in the market.
In addition to this twos, the top 10 insurance companies in terms of premiums collected in January also includes: Ateshgah (5 million 829.85 thousand manat), Pasha Hayat Sigorta (3 million 659.55 thousand manat), Ateshgah Hayat (2 million 756.09 thousand manat), Mega Sigorta (2 million 673.97 thousand manat), AXA Mbask (2 million 407.25 thousand manat), AzSigorta (2 million 336.55 thousand manat), Khalg Sigorta (1 million 733.4 thousand AZN) and Standard Insurance (1 million 436.45 thousand manat). The remaining 15 companies collected less and two companies had a zero score.
Among the insurance companies the largest amount of payments is also on the account of Pasha Sigorta, whose compensation amounted to 2 million 336.8 thousand manat (22.64% of total).
Recall that in January total premiums of insurers amounted to 62,890,000 manat and payments were 10.32 million manat. --17D-
