Plan of Chamber of Audit Unveiled
The plan of the Chamber of Audit of Azerbaijan (CAA) for this year has been unveiled.
As said in the statement on its website, a seminar will be held already on February 13, dedicated to "Features of audit of the consolidated financial statements under the application of international financial reporting standards (IFRS)."
In total this year 15 different seminars, conferences and round tables are scheduled, and the most in demand are the following ones. On May 7-8, a scientific-practical conference on "Application of International Standards on Auditing and Financial Reporting in SMEs: Challenges and Prospects" will be held. The situation and trends in the field of audit will be discussed at the conference on September 8, and the problem of dumping in the audit - at a meeting of the "round table" on September 22.
CAA also plans to hold a conference on November 6 on the role and importance of the statutory audit in improving the investment attractiveness of the Azerbaijani economy. A roundtable on "Recommendations for auditors to audit the annual financial statements based on 2014" will be held on November 20, 2015. --17D-
