SOCAR Ukraine to get 26 petrol stations and oil base
After the deal for acquisition of 50% share in the authorized capital of Atikva Estate LLC SOCAR Energy Ukraine will get 26 petrol stations and oil base on the territory of the country, reads web site of SOCAR Energy Ukraine LLC.
"One of the forms of development of a group of enterprises of SOCAR Ukraine as well as other participants of the Ukrainian oil products market is acquisition of corporate assets or absorption or other enterprises' joining SOCAR Ukraine Group. As a result of the prepararory work SOCAR Energy Ukraine, which is a managing company of a group of enterprises of SOCAR Ukraine, has got a permission of the Ukrainian Antimonopoly Commjittee to buy over 50% share in the authorized capoital of Atikva Estate LLC," reads the information.
"After closing of the deal, SOCAR Ukraine Group will control the following business assets: 26 petrol stations in Odessa, Nikolayevsk, Poltava, Cherkassk, Zhitomir and Kharkov districts and one oil base in Kharkov district."
"Preliminary preparation of the deal to transfer control of assets of Atikva Estate LLC, which ownes part of business assets of Kalina group, to SOCAR Ukraine Group has been already carried out."
Web site says that "in the future it is planned to re-brand the above-mentioned assets in correspondence with the corporate standards of SOCAR."
* The representation of SOCAR company started to work in Ukraine in 2008. In early 2009 the company decided to create and develop a network of petrol stations in Ukraine. Early this month SOCAR announced its decision to increase number of petrol stations under SOCAR brand name in Ukraine up to 30.-0---
