Targeted Social Assistance to Be Available through "Electronic Government"
Requests for targeted social assistance are available. This can be done through the portal of "electronic government> (e-gov.az).
According to the Information Technology Center (ITC) at the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of AR, the question of the integration into the portal e-services of the single electronic handling and destination subsystem (VEMTAS) targeted social assistance has been considered in the ITC with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Azerbaijan. They discussed the technical possibilities for applying for targeted state social aid in electronic form, as well as the ability to create an authentication system for e-services and the use of e-signatures.
In order to provide e-services there will be used special software that will allow sending the results to VEMTAS, which in turn will facilitate the decision on the appointment of targeted social assistance. Informing the public will also be held in electronic form. The project will provide transparency and facilitate the procedure for the appointment of said type of assistance.
According to statistics from 1 January 2015, 107,761 families or 470,237 family members are assigned to the state address social help.
The average monthly amount of social assistance per household increased by 10.3% and amounted to 138.89 manat, and the average amount for each family member is 31.83 manat. --17D
