The amount of deposits of gold in the IBA increased 3.5 times
From the beginning of 2012, the amount of deposits on the service "gold deposit" of the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) has grown more than 3.5 times, according to the press service of the bank.
So, if at the beginning of 2012, deposits on this service made up about 423 thousand manats, today the volume of transactions has reached 1.5 million manat. Over the past six months, the total amount of deposits of gold has increased by over 35%.
IBA has started to receive public funds for the service Gold Deposit at the end of November 2011 and is currently the only bank in the country, providing a means for people to deposit in gold without physical acquisition.
The service Gold Deposit is aimed at customers that emphasize reliability and stable profit. To obtain "gold deposits" it is sufficient to provide the bank a proof of identity. For account opening a fee is not charged.
The minimum deposit amount is the equivalent of one troy ounce (31.1035 grams) at the official exchange rate of the bank for gold on the date of the deposit, and the deposit period at the option of the depositor is from three to 12 months. In addition, a deposit can be opened in the form of a demand deposit. Interest payments are made at maturity. -15D -

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN.
