April Fights Were Glorious Victory of Azerbaijan - Ilham Aliyev
Ilham Aliyev considers the results of military operations on the Karabakh front in April of last year a “glorious victory” of the Azerbaijani army.
“The April battles are our glorious victory, which showed the strength of our state, people, and army. Today, our flag is flown on the territories of the Jabrail, Fizuli and Agdere districts that have been liberated from the occupation,” he said at a meeting with a group of servicemen.
“Azerbaijan will never reconcile itself with the occupation and will restore its territorial integrity at all costs,” Aliyev said.
According to him, the April fights showed the high professionalism of the Azerbaijani army, which successfully conducted counteroffensive operations and liberated strategic heights.
“These strategic positions today allow us to fully control the situation on the contact line of the troops and take any measures,” Aliyev said. -05B06--
